Behavioral Health Benefits

 

We're working together with Optum® to provide our Members with integrated behavioral healthcare solutions. Members can choose from more than 8,600 experienced, Florida-licensed clinicians for support, including psychiatrists, psychologists, masters-level social workers and other mental health counselors.

In addition, for Members who may travel and have benefits that cover out of network and out of service area care, they can draw upon Optum’s national network. Optum also offers our Members expanded access to care via a 24/7 hotline, self-service portal, digital therapy and telehealth services. Below are a few of our Behavioral Health tools available for you to use.

Self Care from AbleTo

A digital behavioral health wellness solution

 

In partnership with Optum, we are bringing our Members, your patients, Self Care from AbleTo. Self Care is a self-paced, digital wellness product with on-demand self-care tools and resources available anytime, anywhere. And it’s completely free. 

Here's a glimpse of what our Members can expect:

  • Community

To use the mobile version, navigate to the App Store or Google Play. Download the AbleTo app. Sign up for Self Care by following the instructions below:

For Medicare Members:

  • From the Program Sponsor dropdown, select AvMed Medicare.
  • For Access code, enter AvmedMA (not case sensitive).
  • Continue answering questions to get access to the tools designed to help you feel better.

For Individual and Family Members:

  • From the Program Sponsor dropdown, select AvMed Commercial.
  • For Access code, enter Avmed.
  • Continue answering questions to get access to the tools designed to help you feel better.
