At AvMed, we want you to get the care you need the way you deserve. For this reason, we have several resources available to you that can help answer your medical questions or concerns.
Nurse on Call
Call 1-888-866-5432; 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekday or night, speak to a registered nurse (RN) about a non-life-threatening illness or injury.
MD Live
MDLIVE Virtual Case Visits. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Speak with a licensed physician virtually or by phone from the comfort of your home anytime, day or night, for nonemergency symptoms. Prescriptions, if needed, will be sent to your local pharmacy.
CVS Minute Clinics
Walk in or schedule a CVS Minute Clinic visit. They provide care similar to your doctor’s office but are open for more hours during the evenings and weekends with many convenient locations.
Dispatch Health
Urgent Medical Care Dispatch Health. 8 am to 10 pm. Licensed medical professionals come to you ready to treat urgent issues such as lacerations and infections. This service is not available in all areas so call or go online to determine if it is available in your location.
Urgent Care
AvMed Urgent Care Listings. Urgent care services usually have extended evening and weekend hours and can handle sprains, strains, lacerations, coughs, colds, and infections, but are usually limited, with no CT scans, limited blood work options, and medications.

If you are concerned about any medical issues or your medications, we suggest contacting your Primary Care Physician. They know you best and can frequently answer your questions over the phone or will you the next day in the office. Similarly, if you are also being treated by a specialist, this is your next best option.
