Rx Savings Solutions

Rx Savings Solutions is a free, confidential medication service that helps you find the best deals on your prescriptions. This service is linked to your plan, so everything is personalized according to the medications you and your family are currently taking.

Getting started:

Log in to your Member Portal account.
Once logged in, select the Rx Savings Solutions on the left menu.

Features:

Get automatic alerts that tell you if you’re paying too much.
To change to a lower-cost prescription, Rx Savings Solutions will work with your doctor to get it approved.
Know your choices before going to the pharmacy.
Compare costs and options to save money.

Is this the same as my current insurance or home delivery pharmacy?

Rx Savings Solutions is not an insurance company or a home-delivery pharmacy. It is an additional service and transparency tool brought to you by AvMed.

How do I see my savings recommendations?

It is all located in the Member Portal. Any available savings for current prescription(s) automatically display on your dashboard. Rx Savings Solutions is confidential and secure. You will go through the steps to find and switch to a lower-cost prescription (when applicable). You can also be notified when we find savings on your prescriptions, based on your contact preferences.

What if I'm not interested in the savings suggestions made?

The savings that Rx Savings Solutions recommends are intended to help you make more informed decisions about your healthcare. You may discuss these suggestions with your healthcare provider. If you or your provider do not feel the suggestions are right for you, you can turn them off in your dashboard.

I don't see one of my medications on my dashboard. Why isn't it there and how do I add it?

Only medications you have filled in the last six months using your pharmacy plan will display on your dashboard. If you used a discount coupon to purchase a drug, it will not show up on your dashboard since you didn't use your insurance. In addition, the claims information that Rx Savings Solutions receives from AvMed may come at a slight delay. If you have started a new medication and don't see it on your dashboard, you can search for the medication to see current pricing and
savings opportunities.
